Hulk

Post by quantus »

It was ok. I kinda wish there were more shots of the scenery in Brazil instead of just a bunch of running through the favela. The next movie with the Hulk will likely be with Iron Man as part of a team... It was pretty obvious that Stark would show up as soon as Stark Industries was mentioned early in the movie.

I missed the post-credits part of Iron Man, so I was surprised by it in Hulk. I think it's cool. It's a very comic book style--the cross-over concept.

I must be the only person who acutally kinda liked the 1st Hulk
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

I liked the first Hulk. There was something about this one that just didn't seem to click with me though. Maybe it just seemed a bit too contrived. Like they were able to create another Hulk from the materials they had left, but where did that material come from? It was a gamma burst that triggered the reaction before, but now it's no longer necessary? Why not just use that material earlier or at least keep studying it instead of keeping it locked away? It's not like the research couldn't be done under some super secret guise or even outsourced to Stark. Also, the low dosage was stable and very usable. The Columbia dude could just use the blood sample no problem and even massively replicate it. What happened to that Columbia dude anyway? I don't think he actually died. Maybe he's gonna be a super villain? He seemed very chaotic neutral which is strange for a researcher who typically has to be very rational/lawful.

I think it's pretty clear that they just said, "Fuck it" when it came to trying to make the science realistic.

Clearly. I would've hoped that they try a bit harder for all the money they spent is all.
