French Onion Dip

Post by skanks »

I previously issued a fatwa against all who would challenge the supremacy of French Onion Dip. This fatwa is now rescinded. My housemate has been frequently consuming FOD and leaving the dip bowl in the sink. Morning-after FOD fouls up the kitchen with a noxious odor. The rancid smell has ruined my ability to enjoy this dip. Now I only smell the rotting, coagulated nastiness.

Have people not heard of rinsing out the bowl/plate as you put it into the sink? Things are so much easier to clean that way since there isn't time for the bits still on the plates to get hard and in need of scrubbing or foul smelling overnight. Even in my apartment, this is a bit of a struggle where it seems more important to split duties than to share responsibility sometimes. I don't get it.
