bob's new cell phone

Post by bob »

yeah, i know i haven't posted in a long time. whatever.

so the story on the cell phone is that my brother is going to scotland for robot school for the next year, but his cell phone plan still has 10 months left on it. so i'm taking it over, and we're cancelling the cell phone i had this summer, which was an extension of my dad's plan. i've updated my contact info in the schlag-2b-only forum.

this phone has bluetooth. my mac should be very happy with that once i get a bluetooth module for it too.

Okay, it's past 6 am, and I don't want to think. So what does this mean? I didn't see any new posts regarding it, nor do I believe memberlist info is private, therefore I've resigned to not caring (or have I?).

Check the private forum. There's an old thread with everyone's contact info. I assume Bob edited his reply, so you wouldn't see a new reply.

So what magic Bluetoothy things are you planning?

Er, unless the wireless keyboard/mouse combo in my feature uses bluetooth, I probably won't be touching it ^_^;

I have this weird annoyance for anything that requires batteries, which typically extends to anything wireless (unless we get wireless power!). It's probably due to the, albeit minor, degradation from battery memory.

Lithium Ion batteries don't have memory.

Can you please find a site to back that up? Most reports I've heard (2nd/3rd hand since I'm too lazy to look) are that Lithium Ion is more resiliant, but still susceptible to memory.

Also, I can't believe I didn't even notice the contact thread until now -_-.
