Tacos! I had a Dirty Mexican party at my place last weekend. I made fajitas, enchiladas, and nachos. Then I ate fajitas for the next week because I definitely bought enough food. It was good though.

Just to make sure, can we can park in any unlabeled spot? (I think they're all unlabeled?)

actually you have to park in the street. you need a sticker to park in parking lot. you can also park in the back by the shopping stores. you can also take your chance, but do watch out for spots with reserved signs.

if you don't know how to get to the shopping area and don't want to park on the street just give me a call when you get there.

how do you get to the shopping area?

I should be there after hh. Although we might not have it this week since everyone seems to be either sick or overworked.

Turn right on Barton street (the street separate my apartment and Piya's) go through the stop sign and look for a bus stop booth to the left right before you hit another street, turn onto the small drive way and head forward until you see brick walls. You have to walk all the way around the apartment complex by the back path though. I think they might open the back gate during summer, but it has been closed since I got here.

do either of you guys have the thingy that uncork the wine bottle? I bought a cheap bottle of wine to use as cooking alcohol, and I just realize I dont have the thing to open it.

Also I got soy souce and sesame oil so you don't need to bring them.

sounds like you need a cork screw... You could always just substitute with a pair of straight head screw drivers, but it'll take a bit more work...

I have like 4 things to open a wine bottle. Just remind me to bring it.

We bought one that read "like a waiter" or something that was impossible. It has like a hinge, and you're supposed to use it as a lever to lift up the cork. Then we got one that fits over the top of the neck of the bottle and you just screw it in. The screw motion raises the cork. So much nicer.

You guys and your expensive drinks. I treat myself to a soda once a week.

Most swiss army knives* have a corkscrew on them. You do have a swiss army knife, don't you?

*I'm using the name sort of like kleenex. Sure, it's a brand name, but it's lowercase, so it applies to the entire range of similar products.
