Do either of your notebooks take DDR SODIMMs? My notebook isn't recognizing that RAM I just bought, and I want to make sure it doesn't work at all before I try to RMA it.

I will check when I get home, but I don't need more RAM

No, no, that's not the point. I want to try it in a different notebook to see if it's the module or the notebook that has the problem. It the module is bad, I'll return it for a replacement. If the module is good, but my notebook sucks, I'll return it for refund and buy something else.

Supposedly this is what my laptop takes:
Module Size: 128MB
Package: 200-pin SODIMM
Feature: DDR PC2100
Configuration: 16Meg x 64
DIMM Type: UNBUFFERED
Error Checking: NON-ECC
Speed: 266
SDRAM Timings: CL=2.5
Specs: DDR PC2100 • CL=2.5 • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR266 • 2.5V • 16Meg x 64
But what's weird is that it had a separate listing just for my model, so I'm thinking it might not take something that wasn't meant for this model.
