Ok, what were all the fundamentalists so happy about? None of the characters mentioned God, the only vaguely religious activity was a ritual sacrifice, magic (black and otherwise) was rampant, and Christmas was conveyed in a purely materialistic way.

Oh, and good news. I checked the CAP alert site and it looks like that lunatic may be out of money. He's already shutting parts fo the site down. He gave Narnia a 70/100 due to violence and offense to God.

Capalert is a non-standard, somewhat-more-psychopathic-than-normal fundamentalist. I was wondering about the more "mainstream" fundamentalists. The only thing I've heard so far is that Aslan is supposed to be Jesus, though the resemblence is very superficial in my opinion.

Read the book. It's a Christian story, in the same way that LOTR is a Christian story. It's not about Christ, though, even as allegory.

(*SPOILER WARNING*)

A main character saves others through self sacrifice, and compassion wins over brutality. At the end of the Chronicles, all the characters die in England and go to a new land where there's a lot of rejoicing. These are Christian themes.
