all i want is a stupid search folder than shows me email from the last 24 hours or email that i have flagged. clearly, they have this capability because one of the prebuilt search folder options is unread or flagged email. however, there's no bloody way to specify OR conditions in the advanced criteria section that i can find. stupid outlook.

I am sure you can write a VBA plugin to do what you wanted. Not that I suggest you do that, since I think all VB programmer should be shot.
