I don't see the link anymore. Was there another upgrade that wiped it out?

on the same subject, the logo has reverted back as well. phpbb needs better upgrade method

Yes, upgrade. I choose to use CPanel to apply security-critical upgrades. Their one-click upgrade makes upgrading painless and easy, but it just overwrites all my customizations. I have patch files for reapplying my customizations, though. On weekends, I may not get to it for a while.
phpBB provides patches in changed files only and code change tutorials for people with heavily modded boards.
