Had a good time. Went out with a couple of guys from work. Shot a few games of pool, ended up with a 3-3 tie on the games, had some beer and appetizers. One of the waitresses there was for lack of a better word slammin. Then headed to a trendy restaurant in Arlington/Clarendon/Rosslyn (not really sure) called Cafe Asia. Had some really good shrimp tempura and sushi. Took in the sights, there was at least one 10 there and a few 8-9s. I was driving so I didn't have much but the other guys had a competition on shots. Started out with some simple kamikazes and went to Tequila, (the bar was a little low so they didn't have enough for red headed sluts and they didn't want anything like mind erasers). All in all a very good night and I only dropped about 50 bucks.

The look you want to go for here will shout "Chest Hair." Neal will back me up on this.

If you want a trendy new look, ask your sister to go shopping with you and have her pick out everything.

Women know better than men what looks good on men. And unless I'm mistaken, you want new clothes to impress women, not men.

..., but he is not looking to impress HIS SISTER. Someone else might, but he sure isn't ...

That's beside the point. His sister more than likely (just by being a girl) knows more about fashion than most men do, and knows what kind of look would look good on him.

To put it simply, his sister is more likely to have the same fashion sense as Girl A, whom Jason is trying to impress, than is Jason to have the same fashion sense as Girl A.

From another angle, it's like the show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy".

The straight guy doesn't want to impress the gay guys, but the gay guys know more about fashion than the straight guy.

Gay guys are more likely to have the same fashion sense as women, and therefore are better suited to picking out a good looking wardrobe for the straight guy than is the straight guy by himself.

Yes, heavy stereotyping here, but whatever.

If that's the case, Jason should ask a pimp instead

But he could very well want to impress his sister's friends...
