I did, and that's the post I replied too.. The motd I quoted for him, was the motd both he and I were referring to ... I think. Was there another motd I didn't see in between?

It is perfectly passable conversational English.

I think most Americans would not choose to phrase it in that manner. I'd have said, "Yeah, an interview to get into her pants!"
