Yeah, it's been getting worse for me. I'll see if something is configured wrong.

I keep bouncing back and forth from being able to access jonathan.pearce.name and http://www.jonathan.pearce.name My personal opinion is that the it's all because of the lame .name domain.

Kind of the same for me. The local web proxy at work in Manassas doesn't have it, but the corporate proxy in either Bethesda or Colorado does (and I'm pretty sure our Fairfax proxy probably has it, but I can't access that proxy from Manssas), although the non-www comes and goes for those.

Yeah, http://www.j.p.n started working for me, but j.p.n cut out. And they never seem to work both simultaneously. And it changes over the course of a day, even on the same internet connection.

The IP address for this site is correct and the nameservers are the same as before, and I haven't got any funny aliases defined.

In light of the fact that this has been bloody going on for more than a month, I decided that my current DNS settings are not getting us where we need to be. I deleted some of my DNS servers that I think were not resolving correctly.

Starting, say, Friday, please try to use both http://www.jonathan.pearce.name and jonathan.pearce.name. Post to this thread to let me know if they resolve for you. If by Saturday all the problems have not gone away, I will drop the other set of DNS servers and give that a go for next week.

Neither http://www.j.p.n nor j.p.n work for me at home or at school. One of them used to work - it was the one that Mohtlim had hardcoded when you clicked the login button.

it just started working for me after about a week. I had so much to post during that time to. I guess you guys will just have to somehow continue your life without the insightfulness of those posts. I don't know how you'll do it.

woot, it works at my home. If I don't post anything tommorow it doesn't work at my office.

I had the same problem as Jason, I had whole bunch of stuff I was going to post on Friday, but I forgot all about it now.

j.p.n works at work, didn't think to try at home. Neither worked for several days before, but hopefully that's all in the past.

Well, my home internet connection can't get to the bboard anymore. The only way I can access it now is to VPN into my company's network and get it from there. How messed up is that?

That's BS. Nothing has changed. Is it a DNS thing? Can you access the board using the IP?

Is Jason the only one with a problem?
