Stupid kid

Post by Alan »

So my IM indoor soccer team was crushing every team we played on route to the playoff quarterfinals. We were winning our games by like 10, 15 goals.

I couldn't play in the quarters cause of a lab. And this one kid decides (after having played in 3 games) that he "cannot in good conscience" play for our team anymore because we're too good for Minors and it isn't fair for other teams. Granted, we should've been signed up for Intermediates but the person who signed us up (who doesn't even play, this is the Pioneers team) didn't really pay attention to what league it was. And the IM officials decided against moving us when we asked to be moved up.

Anyway, we usually have 6 or 7 people show up, but without me, the other kid, and another person who couldn't make it, there were only 4 (indoor is 4v4). And one of our players apparently gets injured just before halftime and since we have no subs we lose.

Stupid kid who thinks he's too good for Minors.

I think the solution is that you should have skipped lab or MAYBE have asked to do your lab some other time.

Not a solution unfortunately. I'm out of town for an interview in Chicago tomorrow and Friday, and next week will be absolutely hellish as it is. I would've rescheduled my lab if I could, but there's no time slot I could've moved it too. And I'm already cutting it close as far as finishing the last lab on time, since I had to miss a couple for MCAT stuff.

You've become way too organized to still be Alan.
