Re: Natural Selection 2 alpha on Steam

I have one more copy to gift (I bought the 4pack a while back) and have been gifting it to people that use to play the first one. It's yours if you want. It'd be pretty sweet if we get 8 people playing though. It would either result in complete domination (of our team... iirc the learning curve is c...

Re: The Official Diablo 3 Thread

it's sad that I read your logs since I want to live vicariously through your gameplay of d3. I wish I could buy/sell items cuz they didn't look cool. AH Log: cashed out my measly 3mil for $4.5 after tax and I think I"m up to $25 now. I figure it'll be a nice way to hedge inflation and when I care to...

I've only made $20 and was playing with jason the other night and he found an item that will probably sell more than $20, in fact its a +450loh, + dex, +all resist amulet, maybe you'll buy it from him cheap an...

humble indie bundles

So as if steam wasn't bad enough for me in terms of cheap games, I find out about this! http://www.humblebundle.com/ Pay what you want, ratio it to how much you want to donate to charity versus support indie developers. Some solid games in the current bundle, I think someone at some point mentioned ...

Re: Neverwinter 2011

Most of the games we've been playing only allow four players, so we needed at least one of you or Vinny to move away. It is interesting how a lot of the non mmo games cap the number of players to 4. Maybe it's legacy support for console/split screen goodness. Although I vaguely remember some games ...

Re: Dungeon Defenders

tangent: Jon, do you play on the atrix or some tablet? How's the performance/limit screen real estate work out? It sucks that you can't access the halloween dlc unless you create a TN character. Also can't get the costumes unless you beat the new map on insane difficulty (I think they said recommend...

Re: Dungeon Defenders

It really depends on what you want to get out of multiplayer. If you just want to survive the map on a certain difficulty/challenge with your team then there's more than enough variety of things you can do that makes it fun. They scale the monsters fairly nicely and the boss fights are pretty epic. ...

Re: SW TOR

The koreans are a huge fan of the f2p (free to play) mmorpg. It's based on the micro-transaction business model where they make you pay for conveniences (inconveniences depending on how you look at it) and customization. So they'll do things like give me $$$ and I can make your hair look purple, dou...
