http://www.theregister.com/2005/11/11/w ... page2.htmlWeb 2.0 is made of ... mutual masturbation
Everything I've seen from the Web 2.0 camp has pretty much indicated it will only appeal to people who want to spend all day diddling around with "interactive" websites to find inaccurate information created by other ill-informed people who also want to spend all day diddling around with "interactive" websites.
Some will no doubt argue that Web 2.0 being built on mutual masturbation is an advance over Web 1.0 (built mostly on solo masturbation). But have you seen who's on the other end? They really should keep their hands to themselves

It really does make sense for Intel to sponsor a team, especially now since there are laws preventing cigarette companies from advertising in a lot of countries that have F1 races.quantus wrote:http://www.eet.com/news/design/showArti ... =173601881
Intel to sponser an F1 team? I guess it goes with the new ad campaign.
I'd say that the safest bet for Intel (unless they sponsor the whole thing) is to go with McLaren, even though I like Alonso, who drives for Renault.

Poorly formatted. Kind of a long slog. However, it does provide reasonable generic definitions of breadth, depth, and size in game design.

I meant everybody compared to, say, six months after 9/11. It's all relative.Peijen wrote:I don't know man ...
Also, Bush campaigned for the Republican running for NJ governor. The guy lost and blamed his loss on his association with Bush. The Republicans are a lot less happy with him than they used to be. This whole McCain-coming-out-against torture business is a significant break within the Senate from the official line of the Bush administration.

Possibly NSFW (I haven't clicked on it). Thinkgeek will have to create a new T-shirt: "No, I will not fix your computer... unless you give me sex."

It's up, yo. It's filled. With, uh, stuff. Hm. Movie reviews, for instance. I have no idea what this is good for.

By majoring in a male-dominated field, we have all collectively lost out on apparently an important part of the American university process: having a hot professor.

This took me forever to figure out, because I couldn't google for it.
Flash 8 and Adblock don't play well with each other. If you've noticed missing Flash interfaces, follow the steps outlined in this link to fix the problem.

Yep, should've been a math major...
... or not- There isn't much reason to take Analysis unless you plan on going the Math Studies and accelerated masters program. Fonseca goes through proofs entirely too quickly without making sure the students are following. The TA does a much better job of teaching the material.
- Analysis is the worst class I've ever taken. It's not because the prof is bad, it's just the material. Unless you are a super analyzing genius, which you probably aren't, avoid it. :|
- sexy, and clear explanations!
