I like that talk. Profiling data is annoying to wade through and annoying to deal with run-to-run differences. I've looked at the flame graphs to try to speed up some scripts in the past, but they stop helping so much in parallel environments or where you have to deal with latency as he points out. I haven't run across that coz profiler before.
