http://www.mckellen.com/cinema/lotr/journal.htm

Exactly what the URL suggests it is: Ian McKellen's journal, or web log, if you will, about the making of LoTR.

This article isn't very interesting except for this quote by the lawyer
"We don't believe that people should be imprisoned for doing what they believe is illegal."

I can't decide which line is best:

"And see, this is an unloaded gun."
"I am the only one in this room professional enough that I know of, to carry this Glock 40."
"All right, is everybody alright? Are you alright?"
"I made a mistake."
"Hey hey hey hey, it's empty guys, it's empty!"

kinda funny since 7 and 9 year-olds were interviewed about the finding of T-rex soft tissue and its implications.

I actually channel surfed past Lost in Translation during the scene described here and decided I couldn't possibly watch it.

Yeah I have to agree, that was the worst part of the movie. But it was the only bad part of the movie, the rest was fantastic.
