I think you missed the important part
The man, whom police would not identify, was married to Tran's aunt, Shell said. All three had lived together for a while, during which time Tran and the man had a relationship for at least a year, Shell said.
Of course they are probably all ugly. I wonder what would happen if he gets an erection... might be a good way to torture him some more hehe.

I refuse to wonder about anyone's erection at work. :x

Instead, I oggle as stuff like this:

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

Genuinely interesting user software. When they integrate support for other GNOME applications, I could really see this being extremely useful.

On second thought, what this also needs is presence. I desperately need this app working on my handheld, laptop, and desktop in an integrated fashion. I use the Hiptop to jot notes down and then email them to myself when they've matured enough to warrant transfer to an actual computer. This is cumbersome.

More fascinating user software. This looks like open source Google Desktop.

This is based on Beagle. The Microsoft name for it is "implicit query." I like the idea.

That looks pretty cool. How good is the searching, though? They mention that it can get context from AIM conversations and pull up related emails and files, with a camping trip as their example. How would it decide which words are worth searching for? What if Joe is asking me about George's party? Does it know to find an email George sent me about that party? If everything (calendar, email, aim, pictures, address book) were connected properly, this could be very useful for organizing your social life, at least.

I like this screenshot:

Dude, if you could record everything you ever learned in this thing, it could replace your memory! Hell, I could go on vacation, and instead of people wondering where things I used were, they could just query my database and not me (not that this has happened to me yet, but it does happen to others here)... This really does need to a way to make sure that it's contextual enough to know not to bring up NSFW thing at work though...

I bet CMU would have paid us to keep the door to Alan's room closed.

Bitmap font maker: http://www.pentacom.jp/soft/ex/font/edit.html
Does not have the ability to drag-draw. Clicking builds character.

You can't install or reinstall without calling Microsoft. And you wonder why I got rid of Windows.

something about breasts. safe for work

well, even if it's safe for work you probably shouldn't read it while a female co-worker is near by.

I need to find me some cheers to play with, and couple of grapefruit to settle with.

Yeah I saw that. I like Microsoft, but this is just plain stupid. Hopefully there will be enough negative PR that they will think harder about how to solve piracy.

Hey Peijen, how long do you think it will take before people realize that it's really not that hard to turn a monstrously long link into text like this...

The question is how do I know if I am consider good looking or not. If I go by my luck with the woman, I don't think I am doing too good ...

On preview: Peijen, what was http://amihotornot.com invented for, if not that?
