In other news, homosexuals are now required to get little pink triangles stamped on their foreheads.

This is fascinating. To summarize the link, pirates apparently distribute content via Bit Torrent in passworded rar format. To get the password, you must send the pirates some money. This of course begs many questions. Two good ones: Are there people distributing legitimate content in this way? Why aren't the MPAA and RIAA going after these people instead of in-kind filesharers?

I post this merely to note the possibilities for my "gangsta" name: Jimbo da Daddy or the No-pants Killa. The suggestions both connote more "sexual predator" than "stone cold gangsta."

Does the aging of the world's population mean we'll experience an "asset meltdown"?

The article itself is not very interesting, but
9) If talking about death several times a week in class sounds like a good time to you, try Purdue University's "Death and the Nineteenth Century" course. Every poem and novel in the course deals with the 19th-century conception of mortality and the world beyond.
A class for goth? what the fuck?

http://www.sysprog.net/quothist.html

Quotes from the past. Fairly interesting, though the accuracy of these quotes is called into question by their use of the "640K of memory" "quote" by Bill Gates, which is almost certainly apocryphal.

Does your baby wiggle its bottom before going to sleep?

It could be diaper rash or a sensitivity to soap.

Or perhaps it is engaging in masturbation, which is an apparently normal infant behavior.

Or maybe worms are crawling out of its asshole at night, laying eggs on its asscheeks, and then crawling back in.

But hey, it's probably just diaper rash. Perfectly normal, nothing to see here folks.

North Koreans partied for Kim Jong-Il, enjoying extra rations and flower shows on his 63rd birthday as the media lionized the diminutive dictator who claims to have nuclear weapons.
love that quote
