If you had to type these multiple time that's fine but you only typed it once wouldn't it be easier to just type it out instead of using short hand?

Heh, I plan to use them in future posts without footnotes.

I typed the acronyms first, then realized some people might not understand, which prompted me to add the footnotes.

Okay, okay. When $199 computers have bigger hard drives than I do, it's time for an upgrade.

Bonus! "Windows (R) Linux Operating System"

Nonetheless, dogging appears to be catching on in other countries, Byrne noted.
Er, I might be wrong, but this has supposedly been common in Japan for a long, long, time (see Mainichi Weekly). Yep, land of extremes indeed.

C'mon, you can do better than just a link to Mainichi. Find us an article!

Hah, IIRC I gave you the link to Mainichi. No way I'm going there at work.

I haven't read it in weeks though.

IIRC? Not quite sure what you posted on the previous page, eh? I'm sorry, Vinny. It's time for an intervention. You have IRC abbreviation addiction.

The first step is to admit you have a problem.

I know what IIRC is. See comment, "Not quite sure what you posted on the previous page, eh?"

And, fine. You have an IRC, BBS, and Usenet abbreviation addiction.

I think it's time to have an intervention.

Vinny, this is hard for us, but it's time for you to know what we think. You have a problem with IRC abbreviations. There are organizations that can help you. And we'll do everything we can do to help you too. But first you have to admit that you have a problem. Your use of IRC acronyms is out of control. You have an addiction, and if you don't face it now, it will wreck your life.

I was referring to the idea that I first gave you a Mainichi link, possibly back during Freshman year. However, I'm uncertain if you stumbled upon it before I told you about it.

Wow, that's based on a 1993 anime I saw back in middle school on the Sci-Fi channel. Nostalgia can hit like a Mack truck. Wow...
