This piece comes at the topic from a secular, science fiction author point of view.

What would constitute a far more interesting piece to me is the theological point of view. What does the lack of aliens say about scripture?

True, especially given the recent meta-study of drake equation parameters suggesting we're likely alone in the universe, or at least our galaxy.

I've been rewatching StarGate SG-1 and now Atlantis. We need Ancients to build a gate system and seed the galaxy :-p
