Very few side effects, other than costing $10 a pill. That's a little better than the one made by Valeant, which is $50 per injection.

Sounds like you've done your research. Perhaps there's is a side business somehow for you related to this? Around here within the last few months there been a ton of signs popping up offering to buy diabetic test strips. I think I remember seeing an article where people are getting them cheaply from people who get them inexpensively through their insurance, and selling to people that don't have insurance coverage for them. Apparently, the arbitrage opportunity is pretty worthwhile. Perhaps there's room to buy these pills from people and sell them to the people using the valeant injection? Really, the FDA should do this sort of arbitrage on a massive scale to fund their agency (and probably a good chunk of the rest of the government) since they can actually do it legally unlike anyone else...

My sub-sub-specialty is treating cancer patients, so these are medications I see with some frequency. There are a ton of other cheaper options that insurances (and the VA) want patients to try before going to these medications since they're generally too expensive for regular use. They are definitely the most effective ones for opioid-induced constipation though since that's exactly what they're designed for.
