No, it's not a band like NSync. It's more like V-sync, but better.

I wonder how long it'll take to get a color-accurate G-Sync 30" monitor with 2560x1600 resolution or higher. I really don't want to have to compromise on color and viewing angles after having gotten used to good IPS panels (currently an H-IPS in my Dell U3011).
