I personally think humans should not have evolved in the first place. Would have saved a heck of a lot of trouble and the rest of the living things on this planet wouldn't be doomed.

As they say at the end, this was mostly so they could have the data to normalize out this effect in profile and message analysis. Also, it gives hard number on whether someone attractive is messaged 5x more than an average person or 500x, which you can't get from an intuitive approach. The plot on how women rate men was interesting even though it was obvious and definitely highlights the fact that women aren't looking for looks primarily, but other attributes as well. Should be heartening to Jason and the rest of you who are unmarried.
