Quad core, 2 GHz ARM design. I think still an in-order two issue pipeline, same as Cortex A8.

Production in 2H 2010 on 40nm. Atom should transition to 32nm at that time, so the competition is hotting up.

Heating up indeed... However, the fact the A9 doesn't run Windows is a HUGE factor in the consumer market.
