Pretty amazing for those deal seekers out there.
I just got two Samsung Spinpoint F2EG HD154UI 1.5TB hard drives for $179.99 ($199.98 * 0.9) and free shipping. That's <$60 per terabyte.

Actually was tempted (for a few seconds!) to get a 30" monitor from newegg, but they don't have the spectraview version of the NEC LCD3090WQXi-BK
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6824002419
Quick summary about why the above kicks ass:
Excerpt from: AnandTech - STICKY: The LCD Thread: Displays du Jour, emphasis mine:
30": NEC MultiSync LCD3090WQXi-BK, 2560x1600 (16:10)
Panel: hard anti-glare H-IPS, 85% NTSC, 16.7M colors
Inputs: DVI-D DL (HDCP), DVI-I
Scaling: Full, Aspect, 1:1, Custom
Input Lag: 40.5 ms, avg (prad)
Ergonomics: Height Adjustment, Swivel, Tilt, Pivot, VESA Mount
Info: official specs | prad
Reviews: prad
Notes: H-IPS photo editing display without A-TW polarizer. Believed to have overly fuzzy anti-glare coating. Use of SpectraView II with this monitor encouraged for critical work.
Yes, it's a 30" LCD that supports portrait mode.
Honestly, the Dell 2408WFP (S-PVA) and HP2475W (H-IPS) blow it out of the water when it comes to bang for the buck, but then again, they're 24" 1920x1200 models.
Edit: Apparently one can buy the spectraview kit separately:

Already expired as of 3:20 pm PST... (I already got my $20 cashback at least!)
Re: Fatwallet: Newegg: 10% cash back using Bing
I actually bought those drives a week ago. Not the 10%, but I'm completely content with doubling my existing hard drive space for $200.
I feel like I just beat a kitten to death... with a bag of puppies.

Looking at the Asus 1005 netbooks right now ( link ).
Is the N280 really only 3.75% faster than the N270 for more than 10% cost? (Also 667 MHz FSB vs 533 MHz FSB).

Edit: Ah, the N280 models come with a 63 Wh battery as opposed to a 48 Wh battery

Considering getting the Dell 24" listed in that forum post, seems like the best value and is on sale again from dell for 400
Probably hook up the PS3 to it since I dont even really use it for Blurays anymore.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.
