Rule #10:
Shut up. I didn't say to keep your comments brief, I said shut up. Avoid speaking whenever possible. Nod a lot. The more you let the interviewer talk, the smarter he'll think you are. When you do have to say something, pitch your voice an octave lower than usual and act smooove. And then shut up.

Sooo True.

I enjoy the characterization of Intel engineers and architects in this article. Note that I am not confirming or denying anything that he speculates about.

"Eek!"

I work for Intel, but I do not speak for Intel. My opinions are not necessarily those of Intel.

Apparently, you can now download a copy of Half Life 2. I'll be damned if I will, though: that sucka has got to be so full of viruses...

Finally! Crackers with some business sense, nonexistent ethics, and a foreign address. It's just going to get worse from here on in until people start making consumer desktop security real.

This isn't fool proof. Just as they've infected 450,000 computers with their software, someone else could write a program to locate these computers and start logging the traffic. What people really need are firewalls. One really has to wonder if MS is pushing technology "forward" in order to put as many security holes as it can out there and just waiting for the internet to just crash one day. Seriously, 450,000 computers that start to randomly web crawl to make the activity look legit would really go a long way to loading down the internet. Heck, if you really wanted to make it hard to trace, you put pauses in the surfing and don't surf between midnight and 8am. To seed the program, point them to google and have them start entering random words found on the computer, then follow links. Maybe targeting google wouldn't be good for the internet community, even though it'd be a good use for the I'm Feeling Lucky button, so use Yahoo instead.

So, probably no one here cares, but hey, click the link, get a naked girl. This is not the extreme, but rather the norm at A&F. All their models, male and female, are naked if you walk past their store. (NSFW. Kinda the whole point.)
