How'd he find out what gun his neighbor had on order? I'm not sure I would be going over to see/photograph my neighbor's gun collection after nearly getting shot. It would have been cooler if he was playing counterstrike and the bullet came from one of the desert eagles instead.

He obviously knows his neighbor well and is on good terms with him. Depending on exactly what caused the shot, he may no longer be on such good terms, though if so, he must be concealing it to have been invited in to take the picture. Since he's talking in terms of what the landlord will do/did it sounds like he's not all that angry himself. Otherwise, he'd probably press civil action, and his lawyer would have advised him not to discuss the matter publically like this.

This assumes that it isn't simply a hoax or exageration, which is quite possible.
