Latest entrant into the content-over-IP field: Vivid. They offer downloadable DVDs for $25. You're allowed to burn them exactly once, and it's almost certainly Windows-only. It sounds like you're not allowed to watch the raw download on a computer, only the burnt disc, but the author wasn't able to interview anybody so the article is light on details.
The price seems expensive to me, although you are apparently getting a full-resolution file. Maybe they should have tiered pricing for just scenes.
