DeepDiscount DVD is selling the first seven seasons of Stargate SG1 for $16.50 apiece. I'd be ecstatic, except that I bought the last four I was missing from them three weeks ago. Damn them.

World of Porncraft. Yet another pornification of a game. The pictures in the article are sorta SFW. The pictures that you can link to are definately not.

TBA films in McConomy. Heh. "Stuff that has happened many times in the past is now news, because we just found out about it. So there!"
Does anyone know if they involve as much heckling as regular Sunday night movies?

Not quite so much in the way of heckling, aside from the one guy in the back who yelled "stick it in her ass!" 12 times. There was lots of laughter, though, at some of the lines, because they were either funny or delivered really poorly. Pirates was a surprisingly good movie, though. I would rank it above Dungeons and Dragons for general cinematic excellence. And that's saying a lot!, and it had a pretty good plot. There should be more porn like that.Dwindlehop wrote:TBA films in McConomy. Heh. "Stuff that has happened many times in the past is now news, because we just found out about it. So there!"

Attention!
Also,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portuguese_man-of-war
I think at one time I knew that a Portuguese Man o' War was actually a colony of smaller animals, but I had long since forgotten until I read the jellyfish article above. When I create intelligent life, it's definitely going to be in the form of symbiotic colonies of lower order organisms.
Attention!
Thank you for your time.A collection of jellyfish is known as a smack

We've all played with very strong magnets. How many of us have played with very strong magnets that are 3" by 1"?

Newsweek poll: 100% of Americans pretty sure they believe in something, but generally confused about what it is
This sums it up best (SFW graphics, contains four-letter words):

Will Wikipedia Live? Who knows. Is the founder, Jimmy Wales, dead? Wikipedia said so... at least for a little while.

Electronic paper is going to be a consumer nightmare. And it might not just stop at the store. Can you imagine your cereal box blinking at you at home?! If the company is nice, there'll be a way to turn it off, like by opening the box, but once this technology is capable of generating its own light (al la OLEDs) then we're truly doomed. The whole world is gonna start looking like the web and there'll be no ad-blocker, unless you have your own portable EMP device.
