Random: 2-Variable Intuition Test ( Link )

70% / 47% on a hurried run through. I apparently suck at emotional intuition.

I totally did too! 62 each. I was not influenced by the suicide discussion because I didn't read it before the test.

While looking at this, I decided to refresh my definition of double entendre by checking wiki...
wikipedia wrote:One of the earliest examples of double entendre in American culture was the late 19th-century vaudeville act, the Barrison Sisters. They danced, raising their skirts slightly and asking the audience: "Would you like to see my pussy?" After an enthusiastic response, they would raise up their skirts, revealing live kittens secured over their crotches.
Double entendre indeed.

It reads like a bad joke, yet as far as I can tell it is not.

MSNBC: Taiwan’s (contraceptive-device)-promoting nun is no more ( Link )

Yes, it's from 2005-08-24, but I just saw it. How's that for an article name.

Btw, used contraceptive-device in case the name isn't SFW for you.

This looks like the RSS reader I've been looking for. It's a bit slashdotted or beta or whatever at the moment, but I'll definitely give it a whirl later.

Yep, it's pretty sad since they had to recruit Thrun from CMU in order to do it. Couldn't do it on their own.

So he is our Thrun, I was thinking if he just happen to have the same name.

Random ( taken from LJ Article )
Cliff Clavin on Cheers wrote:Well ya see, Norm, it's like this ... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Only enjoyable if you have a strange obsession with comedian and Full House star Dave Coulier.

...

I really enjoyed it.
