I wonder if cow and chicken farms could use this technology as well? I know students at UC Davis would love for the smell to go away...

"Design skis to Antarctic station contest win"

http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/20 ... 417099.htm

Is it just me or is that title not exactly "English"? I guess I'll let ABC slide this time since it is its Australian site, but they should still consider getting a new editor.

The rest of the article is of marginal interest.

I didn't have the marginal interest to read the rest of the article, but I'm guessing they're using design=noun, skis=verb, and win=noun. Like "Robojoe walks to Antarctic station contest victory". It's of course not a real sentence because journalists are entirely incapable of using real sentences for titles, but it's close, though it did take a few reads to decipher it. Maybe Australians are more used to seeing "win" as a noun than we are.

If people want to avoid having the plot spoiled, why don't they just avoid reading the Harry Potter websites???? But that would be too obvious, and they would miss out on the daily feature "What Color Is Hermione's Underwear Today?".

Russian spammer beaten to death

http://www.silicon.com/research/special ... 764,00.htm
The case is being treated as murder though no motive has yet been established, according to reports citing the public prosecutions office of Moscow's central district.
I think the title's got all the motive necessary.

"... and we feel the majority of people want to use our software legitmately," said Mr Hilton.

Somehow, I don't think this is quite true for a couple hundred dollars a license. If windows cost around the price of a dvd or two, then maybe.
