I need a dedicated sustained damage soak. Here's some forum post listing the good ones.

Arthas, ETC, Chen, Diablo, Johanna, Stitches, Muradin

I don't like ETC because he Stage Dives. In general, someone who initiates by moving into the enemy in quick matches is gonna get stomped.

I fear Stitches. Not sure if I'll be any good with Hook!

Diablo seems fun because his trait revolves around dying! I can die!

I don't know anything about the others.

Muradin is pretty good and fun to play. Good mobility, pretty tanky, good CC, option to debuff attack speed which is good vs Illidan and some others. Johanna is the overall best damage soaker, doesn't do much damage but has some nice CC options.

Stitches is reliant on having a good team and you landing hooks reliably, otherwise he can get melted pretty quickly. Arthas, ETC, and Diablo have been nerfed recently. Chen can soak but is relatively useless otherwise.

Garden of Terror
  • I don't know how to complete the objective. Ir dum
  • I also don't know what to do when night falls. Is getting a lane's XP useless? Are there likely places for team fights?
  • I've been the Dragon knight but I have never beer the plant. What is the plant good at?

The Hots fan sites have the PTR notes for what heroes are getting nerfed or buffed. I think Anub is getting the bat and Muadin will be #1, but I've nevER actually played him.

The plant can disable towers and turn heroes into silenced plants. Works great ivs AI!

Next rotation:
Week of Tuesday, June 30, 2015:
Raynor
Muradin
Falstad
Sonya
Tyrande
Gazlowe (Available after you reach player level 12)
Azmodan (Available after you reach player level 15)
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

Well looks like you can try Muradin free this week!

He is pretty easy to pick up. His Q is a skill shot stun, W is AOE damage (fairly weak), E is his mobility skill. I like building his Q to restore mana and hit multiple enemies.

I'll probably try Tyrande this week.

Each night there are a set # of seeds split between camps of little enemies and a Terror, which is basically a boss. There are two Terrors, one between top and mid and one between mid and bot lanes. Wheneve ryou collect 100 seeds you get your own Terror, and a member of your team has 1 minute to climb in before it disappears.

The best choice for the Terror is generally the same as for a DK. Usually best if the tank takes it, or a melee assassin.

When night falls you generally want to start collecting seeds. I think the exceptions are if you are down on experience and need to soak lanes, or if you have a hero that can solo push a lane while your team collects seeds. First Terror (and first DK) is half strength so it's not as important to race to get the first one.

Team fights tend to break out during night phases collecting seeds (especially around the bosses), and when defending against a Terror (or pushing with one).

I've never played him, but based on what I've seen he's probably lowest on my list of heroes that I want to play.

I've played Tyrande a few times, she's pretty fun. Doesn't do a ton of damage but a lot of utility, with a nice stun, an ok heal, and some team-friendly talents like shields and healing ward. And Starfall is a pretty strong ulti. I'll probably buy her when I get 7k coins.

My win %'s:

Code: Select all

Hero lvl games avg duration win %
	Jaina 6	8	00:22:11	25.0 %
	Sylvanas	6	8	00:23:43	12.5 %
	Zeratul	5	6	00:20:44	83.3 %
	Muradin	5	5	00:17:55	40.0 %
	Tyrande	4	4	00:23:47	75.0 %
	Raynor	4	4	00:20:43	50.0 %
	Li Li 3	1	00:19:46	100.0 %
	Malfurion	1	1	00:22:15	100.0 %
Maybe I should play supports more often. And stay away from ranged assassins.

Been liking Falstad more than I'd thought. Not a huge fan of Raynor, Muradin, Gaz or Az. Did also enjoy not actually healing as Tyrande and just picking hehe

I spent my holiday weekend gold on Malfurion and Diablo.

It seems to me if you want to queue with a friend for QM, one of you should be a warrior and the other a support.

I am very bad at Falstad but I like the idea of Falstad. I keep trying to do Dwarf Mage builds but I should probably do Seasoned Marksman/Vampiric Assault.

MuraDave and AzJonathan.

Cursed Hollow went to level 26/27 (we won). Each side had 1 AI teammate (Falstad for us, Muradin for other team) due to a weird connection issue before the game started. If I'd realized, I wouldn't have left our Falstad alone in his lane.

Watch as our teammate abuses us mercilessly in chat, while also concentrating solely on solo ganks and not trying to help us win at all!

Yep, it eliminates the terribad 5 assassin games you otherwise end up in.

Let me re-introduce you to Hotslogs:

https://www.hotslogs.com/Account/Upload
Here's a video explaining the various features of it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8AB_WeeSE4

Here's me:
https://www.hotslogs.com/Player/Profile ... ID=4530585

Here's you, based on games other people have uploaded in which you have been:
https://www.hotslogs.com/Player/Profile ... ID=4735878

It gets rid of all the A.I. games, so the stats are based only on QM, HL, and Team League. If you get the auto-uploader you just open it and it uploads all your replays. I just got in the habit of doing it after every play session. It's also a nice way to see just how bad that toxic guy blaming you for losing really was.

I think I'm settling on Tassadar, Zeratul, and maybe Tyrande as my mains. I like the idea of Sylvanas but just get killed too often with her.
