Blademaster! That looks like a fun kit. Melee assassin with a passive movement speed trait and basic ability walk through enemies? Hell yes.

My prediction: he'll start out ridiculously broken and then they'll nerf his damage too severely.

Brawl patch today!

I play a lot of ARAM. This will most likely replace that.

Well, you got the predicate right. We are still awaiting the conclusion.

An alternative to nerfing his damage is making him less slippery.

Played well he can be a nightmare to catch. I'm still blowing my load on illusions a lot. That close-to-zero health bar is so damn tempting.

Brawl is fun! Zag is bad.

Varian - Nov 15
http://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/2 ... abilities/
Warrior/Assassin
You get your choice of basic ability Protected or low-cooldown stun at level 4, and then you pair that with either Taunt (health boost and peel), Smash (Vulnerable and AD), or Twin Blades (crits + AS/MS).

Basically the anti-Samuro pick. Though he has the first anti-shield talent in the game at 16! Edit: Parry is real good against Tracer.

Ragnaros - presumably Dec?
http://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/2 ... -overview/
Melee Assassin
AA reset + heal, AoE+DoT, AoE+MS. D a Fort/Keep to activate raid boss mode with a second healthbar, on a 100s cooldown. On certain maps, that is damn good. Has a stun heroic and a push-a-lane heroic.

Rag pairs damage with sustain and good AA with good AoE. I think I'll most likely pick him up. Edit: Hard counter to Sylvanas?

I have around 20k gold and haven't been grinding my dailies. None of the recent hero releases appeal. I'm working on getting more master skins, honestly. I'm really close on master Hammer.

Patch next week reworks monk and Zera. I think damage monk puts out respectable burst now: ~2.2k at 20 without SSS.

They nerfed his damage.

Lost Cavern brawl: mixed results! It was pretty common to have no-healer games, which changes the dynamic quite a bit and discourages brawling since the spawn timers were standard. Also, I played brawls against people below account level 20, which seems unfair. ARAM may not have matchmaking, but you have to be somewhat clued-in about the game to be willing to discover the ARAM community. With brawl, people just get thrown into the deep end. Or I'm stuck in the shallow end? Huh.

On the other hand, kiting a Muradin as Gazlowe was kind of satisfying. Eat it, you stupid dwarf.

Free Varian this week!

I still haven't played Rag, Samuro, or Varian yet. Alarak requires more skill than I possess. I can never figure out when to go in as Gul'dan. Pass on both of those heroes.

Zarya is fine: you gotta posture like you're going in and bait out the cooldowns when your shield is up. I still need to practice her ults because I whiff them more often than not. She's apparently OP on Braxis Holdout; that's probably the only time I'd draft her.

Diablo rework is good. I stomped some face with him in QM. I hear a lot about Domination CC train but on paper, I like Fearful Presence or Debilitating Flame better. Q at 13 is hard to stack.

Reddit seems pretty happy with the patch to Team League.
With today’s patch we’ve loosened the Team League party restrictions and will now allow placement players to group with those who have already received a rank. We’ve also removed the tier restrictions on parties of 2 and 3 players so that groups can be formed regardless of each players’ current rank. While we may re-implement this restriction later, we wanted to test out how this change affects Team League queues and match quality.
I feel like this is the competitive mode for me. I'm never going to play enough to be up on the new OP, but solid picks from launch are something I can play. I'm just not first pick.

Decided Varian was not for me. Got my Li-Ming unlocked and bought Rag. BY FIRE BE PURGED

Silver City Brawl is fun! It's the new ARAM map. I rolled the new Artanis and actually rather enjoyed him.

My Cho is about halfway between level 7 and 8. Getting up there. I think his attack animation is bad, like Lunara's was before they fixed it. I keep canceling autos.

I haven't played Hammer at all. I should get her master skin while I've got the Nexus Challenge stimpack up.

Sylvanas got Paralysis removed. Huh.

Greymane has 10% resistance in Worgen form, Anub'arak has 25% ability resistance always, and Arthas gets 15% resistance to AAs. Also, resistance is now Armor.

Azmodan gets a merc lord talent on his trait, which is going to be very strong. He also gets March of Sin baked into his base kit.

All heroes free this weekend.

I bought Artanis. Post-rework, he is really fun. Being OP doesn't hurt.
