Endless Space
A modern 4x

Thinking about getting this, but since the single player seems weak it would be for multiplayer. Anyone want to try with me?

Re: Endless Space
I was thinking of playing this game with Pei, but we're currently trying out Dungeon Defenders. Anyone want to play Dungeon Defenders with us?

Re: Endless Space
Steam says you have 7.5 hours left before 20 hours... You should play those last 7.5 hours with us next week or the week after.Jonathan wrote:Eh, I got my twenty hours of entertainment unit out of that game already.

Re: Endless Space
If you play some Dungeon Defenders with us next week, I'll play Endless Space the week after next while LM and Erik are in Hawaii visiting LM's sister.

Re: Endless Space
I actually double purchased that game, once on Android and once on Steam.
This is rank bribery!
Might work, though. Hm.

So yeah, anyone want to play dungeon defenders this week and I'll play endless space next week and probably beyond.
Oh, and what voice chat system should be used? The built-in one in the game/steam?

Re: Endless Space
There a small chance I'll jump onto Dungeon Defenders for a very short while (FFXIV:ARR takes priority), but I'm really rusty.
For voice chat, I highly recommend mumble + my murmur server. I PM'd the server details in case you're interested. Chuck, Zef, and I hopped on after 10pm EDT tonight and are hoping to hop on earlier tomorrow.
Also, Plumble (free) is an amazing android mumble client (url).

Re: Endless Space
I installed murmur this morning, but need to reboot still. I'll deal with that after Erik gets to be around 8:30. So, probably will be near 9PDT before I can be online. I don't have an android phone or tablet (other than a kindle fire non-HD which doesn't really count), but may try the iOS client.

Re: Endless Space
murmur works really well and is pretty intuitive to set up. It's better than skype imho and has nice integration to overlay who's talking in the corner of the game screen so you don't need to a separate window.
Played some Dungeon Defenders with Vinny. He's ultra min/maxed a character in most of the classes of course, so he easily kills lots of stuff in hard level even while not remembering how to really even play the game. Anyways, it was still fun leveling up my apprentice another 8 levels to 42. I clearly need much better equipment. Not sure I'm gonna go the Vinny route of hooking up controllers so I can have more active characters in game to up the experience gain while really only playing one.
I'll probably be on again tonight, but need to go to sleep earlier because Erik woke me up super early and wouldn't go back to sleep or let me go back to sleep.

It's primarily my trip to Israel and prep thereof.
Last night I was looking for the stupid cat!
