Re: Flash games
What the fuck do engineers wear? I have nothing to suggest to them when they come in looking for a gun I can't build.
Re: Flash games
done =p, I got another quest where I can finally build all the components myself yay! Go go fuzzy spiders! Also I really should stop equip the adventurers with my high end gear, lost a 12k gauntlet

Re: Swords & Potions 2
Hahaha Erik got pwned by the captcha system. He failed it too much and got his account disabled. lol
So he quits.
So he quits.
Re: Swords & Potions 2
aww he was contributing a lot of people to city quests too! Was he botting/scripting or legitimate fail... Should we just start inviting random ppl
for engineers, they need stuff from tinker/leather-crafters mostly, but one or two like maces from carpenter.
I was reading some forums and they posed some interesting strategies to optimize.
One involved leaving a pool of customers as low level as possible and grind selling shopkeeper 1 cost recipes (clubs, etc). You then utilize the +gold furniture to boost the worth of each transaction. Everything else your crafters make is saved up for future recipes/city upgrades. He claimed he could easily sell 1k on those recipes daily. Grind up to lvl 6-7 recipes w/o any constraints and slowly level the customers he wants for quests etc.
Another interesting thing is that we could "specialize" by bypassing the fees of the auction house to fill in the gaps in our inventory.
For example:
I need potions from your sorcerer, you need boots from leather-worker
While you are grinding to the next level of the potion, more than you can sell yourself, you sell 5 for 5k to me (something well over the worth and 20% fixed boosts). I buy the potions then post 5 boots for 5k. Since there doesn't seem to be any transaction fees (I think), we can effectively trade items as long as we keep the original 5k liquid. Dunno if it's worth the work though =p.

Re: Swords & Potions 2
Sure.
Some carpentry/leather stuff at cost would be useful, as I have trouble keeping engineers and thieves happy.
Given how much he was playing and how hard he fails at captchas, Erik might actually be a bot avatar IRL!

Re: Swords & Potions 2
Hmm on second thought I"m spread pretty thin trying to keep everyone happy plus a lot of the stuff is used for higher lvl recipes. Also requires waaay to much work to figure out what's a good exchange based on our playing rates etc. I still need for quests:
Armorer - Brass Helmet, Chain Mail
Sorceress - Health Vial
Side note: Erik seems to still be playing so that's good!

Re: Swords & Potions 2
Health vial is up, as is a sample of my other sorceress wares. Ignore or buy, w/e.
I'm going to give up on happy engineers. Not worth my time.

Re: Swords & Potions 2
Dunno where Melissa is. I invited her yesterday. Slacker.
I'm thinking about getting together the scratch for a luthier. Maybe a jeweler, but nobody has sold me an elven flute and the bards are good customers for me.

Re: Swords & Potions 2
I'm running for mayor of this shitty town. My platform: a chicken in every pot! A return to the values that made us great! And a Traders 3 so we unlock Oil Refinery!
Re: Swords & Potions 2
trident is up. Broad axe some might have in unlocked already, will required a few more grinds on my part. I want to unlock iron wood so I can make shields that sell for 2.5k! =).
Re: Swords & Potions 2
I need to start griding metal caps. Earning metal rods through quests is not sufficient.
I feel like I just beat a kitten to death... with a bag of puppies.
