I've completed two missions, the Zeruhn Mine Report and the Geological Survey (Cid). Haven't snagged my third yet (heard there's a welcome to Bastok one).

As for quests, I've completed three: the Quadav's Curse quest, which gave me the Bronze-thing to complete the Something-Stylist quest, and the Zeruhn Soot one.

Not sure if it's a mission or a quest, but I'd like a better weapon 8) (the famed spatha everyone's talking about).

Besides weapon skills, I think I'm still desperately in need of armor (still using the lvl1 equipment + the bronze thing, a dog collar, and a shell shield from dave)

Regarding the poison, I wouldn't know. I stayed away from them :)

don't think so. you have to go from s. Gusta to N. Gusta (the left exit) then to highlands. The other N. Gusta exit takes you to palborough mines

Damn. Vinny 0wnz m3!

Re: highlands and Gustaburg- thought so. anyway, i started going the wrong way twice, but i am actually on the correct path now.

Yeah, buy some armor before tonight if you can, Vinny. That would be most excellent.

I usually kill the rock lizard before it has a chance to do a weapon skill. That's probably what happens. Woo, scythe.

My Blm sub is at level 10 right now so I could join in for some spanking goodness too.

Unless you guys already have too many mages.

I would estimate that of the people who have posted:

1 person won't show up
2 people will show, but at different times
1 person will play all night
1 person will show early, wait around for us, decide to change jobs and do something else

So by all means, switch to BLM and ride the train!

The problem is two-fold:
  1. What should I get? (guessing from AH)
  2. With what gil? (I think I have 600-900 or so)

What you get is pretty class- and level- specific. In your case, you can pretty much choose from scale, and, well, scale.

Uh, sell shit in the AH. Goblin stuff, bronze stuff, stacks of 12 doodads, all of these things will fetch ~1000 or so. Crystals used to, though not so much anymore.

I thought you'd be playing poker tonight, Vinny.

Nooo! Not the ambusher! He is the whatchacallit, destroyer of worlds. Plus, I'm already so close to the highlands. Soo much less walking.

Where's the place to buy maps from, anyway?

I financed my scale entirely with shit I sold in the AH. Still have a chunk of change leftover, too. So I guess maybe my 18 hours weren't entirely wasted.

You buy maps in the Port District, one of the vendors in the tent-thingies on the main road across from some houses.

Ah, crapx0r. Well, I told them I was only going for a $5 buy-in this time. Maybe I'll conveniently sneak out 8) (starts at 7:30, typically goes to 1 am or so then foosball)
