Ragdoll Avalanche 2

Pretty old, but I find it has something of GIRP in it. Simple controls, but if I was a little bit better I could do so much...

You're evil.

Random: I bought Anomaly: Warzone Earth today (10% off, tower offense)

Gah, used my first hint on Dodo (3rd from the last).

Two more to go (30x30 and 50x50) and I'm free!

Done! Freedom!

Image

I ended up using my second (and last) hint on the 2nd to last puzzle, then breezed through the last one.

It seems the creator(s) made the last puzzle drastically easier, which was much appreciated. The fact I had to scroll the puzzle at 2560x1600 was not appreciated though; I think I hurt my wrist too.

Some notes:
  • Chuck is evil for telling me about this game.
  • More colors = easier since it helps deduction by reducing branches
  • The lack of an undo feature caused me to restart twice; hence mistakes are painful...
  • However, I found proving every move even more painful. For example, I spent over an hour (while doing laundry that is) on the Garden Gates (4th to last puzzle). I could've solved it much faster by guessing, but I was afraid of making a mistake and restarting. After that torturous experience I incorporated guessing on the last three puzzles, resulting in much faster times (13:38 and 23:19 on the last two puzzles) and no mistakes.
  • I found Picma Squared less fun than the original due to the UI; keeping tack of completed clues, especially across color swaps, can get difficult
  • Btw, can non-Dwindlehops use Mohtalim for image hosting, or should I stick with ImageShack?
  • Chuck is evil for telling me about this game.

lol what's your kongregate name so I can add you =p. I just finished all the puzzles as well. Yea it really bothered me that there was no way to mark things down temporarily to see if you made the right decision only to find out that it was not 10-15 steps later and not knowing what to undo. I just ended up restarting...MULTIPLE times. I didn't use any of the hints but I did guess a few times. Yea at some point I got stuck on the garden door but saw enough to see it was symmetrical and just guess finished it. The last one is indeed a lot easier than the others; just was careful to not make any mistakes and it's pretty straightforward. You can also navigate the puzzle using "wasd" but meh moot point now that we finished it.

There's a 3D version, but alas it's on DS

I do try to please

I had very similar times for those two puzzles (13:48 and 25:22), but I didn't use a hint. I didn't use any hints in any puzzle. This is a lot like doing sudokus really.
Also, solved the 3rd from last in 30:43 with no guessing. I think this was my longest time. Meadow Sprite was a bit annoying, but only took about 15 minutes.

A really well done old school platform game. Some of the dialogue is hilarious.

SameGame with a point!

Troll and Iron Golem gave me the most trouble. Obviously, I had problems with Troll due to sucking at SameGame, but Iron Golem is tricksy and requires some luck, as well.

*Bump* :D

http://armorgames.com/play/12141/kingdom-rush

Classic TD formula except instead of having slow towers you have tower that generate troops to block enemies. Excellent variety of monsters + towers + maps/skill tree makes this game really really fun =). Also has a lot of little easter eggs (ie. click on sheep on the map will cause them to explode, there's a tower that will turn mobs into sheep (and if it's flying... a flying sheep =p), upgrading a dwavern tower to max will cause the dwarves to swear)

http://www.kongregate.com/games/Rete/villainous

Reverse TD, you plan out the mobs and try to create the perfect wave to ransack/pillage towns.

I like the concept of Villainous, but I'm not finding it to be particularly deep.

I just can't get into Bloons. It's different, but too many of the upgrades are bullshit. Penguins is annoying to me.

Crush the Castle is nice.

Castaway Island is okay, but too easy.
