5495M. 442,347 pop. #4 this week, #3 today. Usually a #3 for the day, I would say, but early in the day could be a #2. Changed my opening from my first 400k+ score, and then just executed right. 5 econ centers. First one, then one, then two, then the last.

At the end, you want one turret, but I carried five until the end. Pondering what I could do with one after the shield goes up...

Steampunk Tower! The art is not as good as Kingdom Rush, but it's a darn fine game. Pretty long and deep. The reload mechanic keeps you busy, and the upgrade tree needs to be tweaked for specific challenges. I like.

Maybe you like Kingdom Rush. Maybe you like TDs with bad guys who must return to the start hauling their loot. You will like this, then.

It tickles me pink that Kingdom Rush is now a genre. In this KR-style game, you get a hero and only build warriors. No towers. So the mobs deal damage, but you get respawn. I'm playing through on Hard and the levels can get quite challenging. I do like that the heroes level slowly, across levels, instead of within a level like KR.

I beat all 14 of Incursion 2's levels on Hard. I have yet to five star them all, but I probably will.

The difficulty level of the last three levels was a bit odd. I kept dying on the 12 level, many many times. Eventually I squeaked through with a change of magic school and skill point investment, plus running a tight round. Then I discovered the Goblin Market and realized I was supposed to be burning consumables on all these difficult levels. The last two levels were comparatively easy because I had the power of consumables.

Finished the campaign of Kingdom Rush Frontiers on Veteran. Level 10 Cronan, 31/77 stars.

The Iron Man challenges on Veteran are basically not achievable without buffed reinforcements/meteor.

14,700, dragonslayer

Went for two powerups and a late teleport which placed me in front of the dragon.

20,100 & 104 XP

Still a surprising number of enemies left on the board. I wonder if a complete clear is possible?

This is a nice implementation of the "drag constantly replenishing armies from base to base" genre. What was the ur-game in this genre, I wonder?

Also for iOS and Android, if you are into that kind of thing.

I should note Megami Quest is about as interactive as Cookie Clicker.

Particle clicker is basically impossible to hit all of the achievements... Achievements for research level for instance are at levels 1,5,25,50 and 100. They increase in cost exponentially and the smallest increase factor is 1.4, so 1.4^99 is 2.93e14 and at a linear rate of ~15.1k/s means 1.93e10 seconds or 612 years (assuming base cost of 1, which it's not) to get level 100 for the cheapest of research items. The most expensive item increases with a factor of 3, so that's 1.72e47 * base cost of 72.5 million. Yes, there are research buffs, but they scale slower and max out much sooner than the per-level research cost increase factor that they're basically useless in the long term.

If you want to skip the game and learn about the particles, you can just read the info from github which provides links to wikipedia anyway.
