And for today....a special treat....Intel themed flash games.....

Intel Road Warriors
-You have a fleet of laptops at your command to help you earn money from prospective clients on the board. As your laptops are used they will be infected with worms, spyware, and trojans that will hamper your productivity. To help you combat these things you have the ability to scan, patch, or the ultimate tool an upgrade to an Intel Centrino Pro Powered laptop!!!!
good:.......
bad: It's one of those games that you REALLY NEED to read the instructions to play the game.
ugly:Just watching your money drop down that fast seems rather depressing
It's not that bad of a game, just kind of repetitive and boring. The thing that really irks me is that it does nothing to really market the product intelligently.

IT Manager 2
-Get ready to put your IT skills to the test. Solve problems, balance budgets and train your staff in the quest for improved company productivity. Aim for the top and you could see your name on the Intel® IT Manager Game 2.0 leader board! One more thing, don't forget to improve your own skills and possibly progress to bigger and better jobs. (taken from instructions)
good: This would probably have been a decent strategy/sim game if not for the mini-games
bad: There's no ability to fast forward time and having a dedicated button to "restart" the day implies they expect you to mess up a lot of times before you get it right....
Ugly: It's amusing to watch some of the sims slack off because they have an "email config error"...wish that was a valid excuse.
I really did try to play this game since I've been in the mood to play strategy/sim type flash games. There's a skill tree to lvl off your main char and you can hire/train/fire a variety of "token" IT personnel. There's enough micromanagement detail to keep you busy however I really wish they'd make those random "mini-games" either optional or have a variety of effects in the game (versus all negative). It really makes the game a lot longer than necessary and it's already slow due to the lack of fast forward function.

Well seeing that you guys seem to like tower defense games a lot here's another one. Not as good as the handdrawn one but it has some interesting twists. I really like how the music changes as you progress through the levels.
p.s. wish there was a way to bypass the commercial but ah well....
p.p.s. ::wonders if any of you play the other games I post ...::

I had already played all the grow puzzles you linked to. The only true action flash game is in the N game. I wonder where the hell my copy of the N game is. Time to get another!

the only thing annoying sometimes is the animations get in the way of seeing the next word....

236 on my first play through.
Another variant of virtual crack.Boomshine is an addictive Flash casual game. Click the screen to start a chain reaction and try to explode as many dots as needed to pass a level. The game contains 12 levels ranging from the easy to the hard (only 3.97% of games pass level 12). Over 3 million games have been played by over 100,000 different players.
236 on my first play through.

270 on my last play through.
Not sure if there's a deeper strategy myself. Off the top of my head, slow balls suck, and there are way too many "closer calls" where one skirts by one's net of explosions. Of course, the majority of the game seems based on predicting where the balls will be in advance to collide with the short-lived explosions.

er...I totally mis-read that for some reason....guess I have a dirty mindDwindlehop wrote:Hey Chuck, why Darts instead of squirts on your best Hard maze?
I think you mis-read the descriptions, the dart one was for the 'Survivor' challenge maps where you have to survive 50+ waves of spawns (it gets quite ridiculous since one spawn mob can split like 4-5 times...each having loads of hp...) That was my first successful try and the maze listed top was when I perfected the strategy to beating it with a score of 9524 (it's actually quite easy once you figure it out the strategy). It's quite possible to top that...but I was just in it to beat it.
I think the last challenge I was trying to beat was when you start off with 10k gold in fun mode...but I have yet to figure out how to survive the higher end air mob...they just have sooo much hp even with all those funds...I couldn't survive...
