Stars! game turn generation conditions

Post by Jonathan »

What say you? Satisfied with the way they are? Looking for a change?

AH supports both regularly scheduled generations and max time between generations. For the latter, you specify an interval: say 50 hours. Once the new turn has been sent out, everyone has 50 hours to play it. The interval method does not account for weekends, though, which we haven't been able to come together on for weeks. So I think we're probably best off with regularly scheduled generations, but I just wanted to see what you think.

Oops. Player scores weren't supposed to be public. There's a freebie, guys.

I'm thinking that the turn generation schedule is fine. Are we still halting the game next week? I'm in favor of that since I finish work out here tomorrow and will be doing random stuff for my last week of nice weather before going back to that black hole dave's creating over there.

all that matters is score. score, and technology. score, technology, and starbases. basically anything i am currently winning in, that's what matters.

Certain people continued to gain resources at increasing rates. Certain other people did not. Certain actions have been undertaken to rectify this inequity.

Also, score is overrated as a measure of goodness. Far more effective is number of starbases. Oh yeah! I'm like 5 times as good as you by that metric.

Oh no! I am a mere 2.5 times as good as Joe. I have dishonored my warrior clan.
