Your trade won't be learned in a wink of an eye. You'll have to cut several hundred steres of wood before becoming a hardened lumberjack capable of knocking down any kind of tree.
Do they have mining scripts? :)

Not that we know of, but I don't plan on crafting if we bother to play for any length of time.

Account: StormShadow
Character: SturmShador

Peijen is AcePlayer and something like "Adjeaf". He got tired of trying to come up with a name noone else had used and typed randomly.

Double woohoo, there's a Linux version!

I'm dwindle/Dwindlehop (apparently dwindlehop and Dwindlehop clash). Be thankful I am not Dwindleho.

But I'm ahead of you in spite of dozens of deaths against things I should have known better than to fight.

I need some backup (or more levels) for my current quests.

I have no idea how many times I've died. Dozens is probably accurate. I am now a level 8 time magey guy. You have actual combat quests? All I have so far is errand boy quests.

I'm still trying to figure out the exp system. A group of three can take on one level 15 mob or a group of four lower level mobs. Which is better for exp? Beats me.

What is up with energy loss when you die? What the hell is energy? And when you boost a spell and it gains RA, what the hell is RA?

There's a map button somewhere on the right side of the toolbar. Should help you find the gates. I usually go out the west gate because my statue is close to it.

Some observations: as a first order approximation, total number of monster levels is proportional to exp earned. This has been accurate to about 10% in my experience. In theory, it should be better to level on crap monsters in groups of 6, assuming you're in a group which can handle it.

I should really try to get some equipment.

I made level 9 last time I played and got a much better fire spell than the first level fire spell. I wish I hadn't wasted boosts on the first level spells.

I like this game more than Puzzle Pirates even though flash is way more annoying than Java as a platform. There's input lag so ll my cht loks lke ths. There should be more MMO turn-based tacticals.
