iPod Newb

Post by Dave »

As a fairly recent convert to the whole apple scene (figured id support the stock.. yea!) is there a way to sort music into folders? I imported my mp3 folder and its a gigantic mess w/o correct id3 tags and unknownartists, etc.

Does vinny charge my the hour?
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

Playlists, not folders.

Think smarter.

Yeah sounds like your mp3 collection came from 5 or 6 years ago. iTunes relies on the tags to put your songs in logical order.

When you give the songs proper id3 tags, it keeps your iTunes folder organized into subfolders by artist, then by album.

So tag your music.

On the subject, what software are people using to remove DRM from downloaded iTunes songs? My girlfriend has ~$200 in downloaded music on various computers that needs to be consolidated.
