Anybody used this store for anything other than Android app purchases?
So far I have purchased one TV show, one movie, and one album (mainly just trying it out). I was able to get the video content to play in Chrome under Ubuntu, so that was a win. The pricing is nothing special. I did not have to have anything installed, unlike iTunes, to buy an album. That was also a win.
The video content streams from YouTube. I have not tested to see if downloads are possible.
The audio content can be downloaded twice, or streamed unlimited times from Google Music Manager. It can also be streamed directly from the Google Play website without installing anything.
Selection so far has been OK. They had the current season of Archer when I wanted it, even though it was not fully broadcast.

Re: Google Play
Mostly I am digging it because it works with my Linux centric lifestyle. Being able to access purchases without installing anything is also very nice.
