New Fashion Imperative: Corduroy Jacket

The cord jacket is awesome. It's got a modest academic charm without being too polished, which is good for us rugged Westerners and other people unaccustomed to the accoutrements of wealth. It also has Indiana Jones appeal. It can be used to instantly upclass a wardrobe in a jiffy.

Go for one with the elbow patches.
