Joe is correct about the dips. French Onion is the best dip for potato chips. Guac is the best dip for tortilla chips. A quality layer dip is an acceptable substitute for Guac. A fatwa enforceable by death is hereby issued against all who would dispute these truths.

Sometimes a good salsa is also nice for tortilla chips.
