Re: Urban Dead

I'm in South Monroeville at St Hilary's Hospital [385,55]. It's ruined, but I'm laying low while I regain my APs. My last sanctuary got crashed and I nearly died. I'm low on health. I spent lots of APs searching for a FAK but I could only find one. I could totally use a doctor so you should haul som...

Re: Urban Dead

well I'm still alive. I'm outside Glasgo Crescent Police Dept. with 40 hitpoints but I can't get in the building and I'm infected and there's 3 zombies. Situation is looking poor. But I do have 20 APs in case you have any plans.

Re: Urban Dead

My friend with the FAKs will heal Linus Skanksworthy tonight. He said to go to Glasgo if you can get in the barricade, but otherwise sit tight and he will go to the fire station and get you. His name is Lorekeep2. Contact link to be posted when I get home. Awesome. I've got 45 hit points. I haven't...

Re: Urban Dead

Yeah, I decided to make a new character: a firefighter named Linus Skanksworthy. I already axed myself a kill and have 37 xp. Now I'm chilling at Ensminger Square Fire Station (since Glasgo Crescent is heavily barracaded). We'll see how it goes.

Re: Urban Dead

Ok, I joined. My guy is Felix Skanksworthy. Apprently I'm in Newton. I joined as a cop and I'm in the Glasgo Crescent Police Dept.

I exited the Dept and found a zombie, immediately ran out of ammo, used my hands, got 20 xp, made it back to the department and now I'm asleep.

French Onion Dip

I previously issued a fatwa against all who would challenge the supremacy of French Onion Dip. This fatwa is now rescinded. My housemate has been frequently consuming FOD and leaving the dip bowl in the sink. Morning-after FOD fouls up the kitchen with a noxious odor. The rancid smell has ruined my ...

Re: sneaky Nehalem review

What's the timeframe for Nehalem? On wikipedia I see the Westmere variant coming out in 2010. That looks about right on schedule for me.

Re: Mohtalim MOTD 2008

Joe is correct about the dips. French Onion is the best dip for potato chips. Guac is the best dip for tortilla chips. A quality layer dip is an acceptable substitute for Guac. A fatwa enforceable by death is hereby issued against all who would dispute these truths. Sometimes a good salsa is also ni...

A foul news story of our degraded era

Woman stuck on toilet for two years, police say The ghastly details will live forever in infamy. This "woman" sat on the toilet so long her body conformed to the toilet seat. Rescuers to the scene confronted a horrifically putrid odor. Brandishing crowbars, they seperated the toilet seat from the t...

stock ratings so bogus

first, I would like to call attention to a particular etf: ProShares:Ultra QQQ (QLD) The Fund [QLD] seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, that correspond to twice (200%) the daily performance of the NASDAQ-100 Index [QQQQ]. This is a novel fund worth commenting on in its own righ...

One more nice thing I've come to appreciate about Zecco: the ease at which you can buy on margin. As a rule, I don't plan to buy on margin because the interest rate is pretty harsh. But sometimes buying on margin really helps simplify my planning. Namely, I can place more standing purchase orders wi...
