Re: Sambar

Usually you eat sambar by dipping an idli or dosa into it and then when you run out of bread-like substance you eat it like soup.

Raita is really only supposed to be put on rice.

Re: Bitcoins

Re: Rent vs. Buy

I agree. I'm just annoyed with the usually buying statistics that wall street uses. It's useless for the DC/LA/NY market space since it caps out at 500k. The median here is 500k, not the top.

It's nice to see that the rest of the market is very similar however with a median around 200k.

This is another option http://www.heroesofnewerth.com/. I think it's a one time $30 cost. Although I'm not sure if it has bots.

Re: disqualifying dispositions for stock grants/ESSP

It does not, because I'm not paying alimony. I'm just giving her money. You and your spouse can designate that otherwise qualifying payments are not alimony. You do this by including a provision in your divorce or separation instrument that states the payments are not deductible as alimony by you a...

You are not representative of the average nor the majority classification of Californians. Therefore, you can not be used as a reference set.

Re: world aging

It annoys me now how a lot of magazines like this pull together a lot of bullshit facts to scare the crap out of people.

I guess if a real statistician conducted a true study on this, the result would be too boring to write up in a magazine, but still ...

Re: Wattle and daub

I usually only refactor the sections that need to be more efficient or the sections that I need to build more stuff on top of. I try to leave everything else alone, since it doesn't make business sense to go back unless it's broken.
