Re: NVMe replaces SATA
why not plug directly into memory bank? I am not using all 6 banks on my motherboard, and have no issue plugging 2 hd into the free slot.

Re: WTF, hardware guys?
If you wait a bit, you can probably pick up a Maxwell part for desktop in a couple months when those products finally get released. Maxwell is a nice step up in perf/W as reviewers have seen for the 750. The slow roll out is probably due to lack of a competitor refresh to finalize the perf/W trade ...

Re: Teaching kids to read
You shouldn't be an overbearing asian father. :P No such thing! I am just trying to be lazy haha. Maybe I will teach him alphabet additions instead. My attempt to teach him to count as succ() didn't go too well either, but he can show fingers to numbers so there is that. He can count from 1 - 10 wi...

Teaching kids to read

Re: data size
yeah, I already found those information, but it is not helpful! I am more asking about making data size 4 bits than why it is 8 bits. Maybe there is a library out there that would do that.

data size
why is byte (8 bit) the standard "data" unit? it is so annoying when you have to pack things with bit mask. we should have used 4bits that way there is a single hexadecimal character representation of data unit and a byte = 2*hd, short = 4*hd, etc. Jon, I expect you to re-design all cpu and compiler...

Re: i7 4770 or i5 4670?
I am looking for triple monitors setup. everything I have found so far does dual monitors or stretch screen resolution to fit three monitors but it's not true triple monitors setup (ie monitor 1,2,3 have different resolution/orientation, not monitor 1,2A,2B)
